New Music: Saudade Sisters "Wrong Ones"

There’s something about the patience in Wrong Ones, the closing track from the latest Saudade Sisters record, that really reminds me of the kind of composure all throughout Not Even Happiness. At almost six minutes long, the track is in no rush, blending elements of alt-country and dream-pop effortlessly into something that is reflective and downbeat, but never drags on. Wrong Ones sounds like the moment after a great sadness, where your wounds are open but you’ve finally realised that in time they’ll heal.
