New Music: Leafy Suburbs "A Face On Mars"

Fresh off Honda Jazz, an album I truly enjoyed while zipping through rainforests in an actual Honda Jazz last summer, Leafy Suburbs is back with their gorgeous new record, Blushes. Something I’ve always admired about Lyndon’s music is their ability to make ambient and experimental music immensely fun, adding a light hearted playful touch that feels inviting and warm. That isn’t to say that Blushes is joking around, but it’s not all too serious either, and Lyndon builds the kind of new age sound that feels familiar yet challengingly new. So I guess if you like magical-realism, then maybe this is for you?

Blushes is out now through Roof Garden Records.
