Stoked to be premiering the brand new single from incredible Melbourne artist, Sandy Hsu. We’ve spoken wildly specifically about Sandy’s music before, but Limbo shows her exploring new territories, giving herself “space to step away from preconceived understandings of her identity whilst redefining herself from an artistic and personal viewpoint.”

In collaboration with local-go-to producer Aphir, Sandy mixes her personal insights unapologetically scattered through her beautiful lyricism with an expansive ambient pop sound that feels familiar yet like a breath of fresh air.

Speaking about the journey the track has taken since first being written in 2016, Sandy remarks,

“Ultimately it ended with me realising that I wanted to be well, and in order to do so I had to come to terms with some past traumas. After I completed writing ‘Limbo’, I could finally admit to myself that I wanted to be well, but I was also terrified of that idea and who I would become if I was.”
