New Music: Loyal Lobos "The Fall"
We’ve been enjoying Andrea Silva’s work for a while now, so it was really nice to hear new music from her. The Columbian born artist has an incredible knack of making alt-countryish pop seem a lot less cringy than the expected sum of those words. It’s devastatingly beautiful, as Andrea recounts a troubling intimate relationship; “inspiration drives you mad and takes you to a place, darker than I’ve ever seen, we were dancing with the ghost of what you couldn’t face”. It’s distressing, but there’s an element here that feels freeing and almost therapeutic, like you're just realising you can finally move on.
