New Music: Qwerty "Shops"
Shop rock might be my new favourite genre. It may just be that silent little rush of popping those $7 a kilo zucchinis through as cheap cheap cucumbers, but I find a lot of comfort sometimes in going to the shops. That tasteful, jazzy second last chord in the progression of Shops is when you gotta call for assistance and you think you’re gonna get sprung for your lavish shortcuts, only to resolve as you realise the overworked employee finishes in 10 minutes and the idea that they’d police two dollars is a bit of a joke to them. This song is the sweetest.
